This top media agency helps the biggest and best brands engage with their customers using creative and effective marketing and advertising solutions. The Technology Manager will be tasked with the flawless implementation of digital campaigns on both desktop and mobile while meeting strict timelines. This person will be responsible for day-to-day ad-operations tasks, including but not limited to, timely generation of and trafficking ad tags, reporting for active campaigns, troubleshooting, and working in various ad servers and digital advertising platforms. Client interaction is also core to the role, dealing with various stakeholders across marketing and development departments in multiple territories.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Traffic, implement, and maintain mobile and desktop campaigns, including generating tracking units / tags.

  • Work with external partners including mobile measurement partners, data management platforms, ad safety/verification vendors and others as needed.

  • Be an expert across multiple different ad servers, including specialised ad servers for mobile, rich media, and / or video.

  • Troubleshoot issues with campaigns, creative, and implementations as they arise.

  • Interact with client contacts, as needed, to discuss issues or needs for campaign implementations.

  • Collaborate with media and account teams to understand unique needs by client.

  • Align with media partners on campaign implementations, including using their ad servers, as necessary.

  • Adhere to processes and best practices for trafficking campaigns.

  • Juggle multiple campaigns and projects, remaining organized throughout and prioritising tasks while aligning with account / media teams.

  • Assess the technology market providing timely updates and opinion pieces to the wider team

  • Manage Technology Analyst

  • Write opinion pieces for the company to keep the team informed of current technology developments.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in ad operations for a media agency/media owner

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Expertise with multiple ad servers, DCM preferred as well as rich-media and video ad servers.

  • Expertise with analytics such as Omniture and GA 360

  • Ability to work with tag-management systems, as needed.

  • Familiarity with using DSP’s (DBM, App Nexus, Mediasmart), MMP’s (AppsFlyer, Tune, Kochava)

  • Proven track record of successful campaign launches.

  • Strong understanding of the specific challenges of ad serving within the mobile space.

  • Excellence within the following skill areas: problem solving, analysis, organization, and collaboration.

  • Deep knowledge and enthusiasm for the digital / mobile space.
