This exciting business now has the infrastructure and demand in place to deliver high volumes of their offering all over the UK and Europe. With a brand new website and gifts platform about to come online Q1 2017 the time is right to bolster the project management team with a key hire to help the business grow on many multiple fronts  whilst maintaining their high quality output. This is an incredible opportunity to join a highly innovative and successful startup that has the strategy and ambition to go all the way! 

 

Responsibilities

Leading and delivering business projects, involving multiple work streams and in line with quality, time and cost tolerances

Using the appropriate techniques and industry recognised methodology to manage projects through their full lifecycle to a successful closure

Establishing successful delivery of projects including  project plans, communication strategies, highlight and project closure reports

Chairing internal and external meetings, workshops & presentations, maintaining records of meetings and using actions to drive progress forward

Pro-active risk, assumption, issue and dependency management

Forecasting, recording and managing projects

Being aware of and working to the required legal and security compliance standards and corporate disciplines

Providing leadership to project resource

Providing support to end users so that the success of a project can be effectively measured after its implementation into live operation

Building and maintaining good working relationships with other managers, delivery teams

Working by and promoting bakerdays standards and vision

 

Essential Experience/Skills

Experience managing business projects involving multiple work streams

Competent using MS Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint

Competent using MS Visio and MS Project

Excellent numeric skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

PRINCE2 Practitioner

Desirable Experience/Skills

Programme management experience

Line management experience

Other Skills and Experience

Able to establish, lead and manage cross functional and multi-disciplined teams

Able to manage your own time, prioritising tasks in the face of changing and conflicting demands

Able to build and maintain effective and productive relationships both internally and externally
