You can have your face on a cake and eat it! With a brand new website and gifts platform about to come online Q1 2017 the time is right to bolster the sales team with a key senior hire to lead the outward commercial sales effort on multiple fronts . As the sales manager you will be a creative and driven able to create a sales strategy, roll your sleeves up and deliver revenue as well as motivate and grow a sales team. This is a key role to bring action that will help the business make the most of its amazing and unique product offering via intelligent commercial activity. This role will involve both B2B and B2C sales, targeting high volume direct clients, big ticket corporate clients as well as strategic partnerships. As a business a high amount of incoming leads are generated weekly, the brand is incredibly strong and this position is well supported by a 360 degree marketing function. Manage a high-performance sales team 4-6 headcount and grow from there

Sales Strategy focused

Performance development and coaching

Work closely with the team to identify and execute on individual and team training needs

Strategic market research and strategy implementation

Produce weekly sales forecasts

Full employee lifecycle management (e.g. recruitment, performance improvement plans, 1:1 meetings with team members weekly etc.)

Work closely with the MD to ensure that progress aligns with the organisation’s overall marketing strategy and sales team objectives

Develop motivational incentives.

Skills and Experience

Proven years sales management experience

Experience working in an agile start-up/small company

Experience selling an enterprise solution in the UK online marketing field

Understanding of the e-commerce, social media and marketing space

Strategic, hands on and happy to deliver personal revenue targets

Passionate about digital / ecommerce / mobile / cakes!
